There are amazing vendors on the internet

Amazing Bonsai Vendors On The Net

Just like everything on the next you have access to the best of the best and the worst of the worst.

The internet allows us to meet people we never would, buy things we would never even know existed, however we can also end up with terrible products from fake vendors expecting a high quality product.  How do we make sure we are using the resources we have available to purchase quality bonsai trees and supplies and not get ripped off by impostors.
Well I recommend small mom and pop or single artists sites.  Some sites sell millions of dollars worth of low quality mass produced bonsai trees.

Pay attention to generic pictures that doesn't go out of stock with each purpose.  Try to buy you bonsai from a company that sends the exact tree pictured.  My website https://best-bonsai.com features 3 pictures of each Tree and a video and you receive the exact tree pictured.

Get to know your local bonsai community.

Bonsai is a unique hobby, usually locals develop into a kind of Union.  Stay connected both to your local bonsai community and online group.  You will learn more picking up techniques from more experienced practitioners than you ever could by yourself.

Read and Learn Everything You Can

The more knowledge you have the more impressive your artwork will be.  Period.

Bonsai Supplies

The internet is an excellent place to purchase bonsai supplies.  It allows access to products that were impossible to get in the past.  You can get high in soil like Akadama, Wire of all gauges, and any pot you could possibly want.  This is a very big advantage we have.

Ask For Custom Requests.

Nobody wants a cookie cutter bonsai tree.  Call the vendor you are purchasing from ask them for a special request.  If they can't accommodate you or at least of a bonsai explanation of why it can't be done.

For example, you ask "Can you change the pot to that blue colored one?"  "This tree's pot can't be changed because it is already gonna go through stress from shipping and changing the pot immediately before will add to that stress, if your willing to wait a week extra.  That way I can give the tree some Super Thrive and the tree can recover from the re potting.  Or I can offer you a similar  tree in the blue pot from my nursery and send it out immediately".  That is the kind of response you should expect from a company that is about the art, and not reselling junk trying to get rich.

Online Vendors With a Passion For Bonsai

I question the passion many online vendors have for bonsai.  With the internet is full of people trying to make a quick buck, it is easy to question how many of the big online bonsai vendors actually have a passion for the living art of bonsai.  Before I even ventured into the business, bonsai played an important role in my life.
I was introduced to the art of bonsai by my mother, who I lost at a very early age.  So along with being a fond memory that I hold close to my heart, escaping in the miniature world of my trees helped me get through many dificult times in my life.
I know I have passion for the art first and then and only then is the business workable.  People ask me, do you really think your gonna get rich off bonsai trees?  No, but if you do what you love you never loose right?

Bonsai - Morning Meditation With My Trees

bonsaipotsusa@yahoo.com bonsaipotsusa@yahoo.com bonsaipotsusa@yahoo.com bonsaipotsusa@yahoo.com bonsaipotsusa@yahoo.com bonsaipotsusa@yahoo.com bonsaipotsusa@yahoo.com bonsaipotsusa@yahoo.com bonsaipotsusa@yahoo.com bonsaipotsusa@yahoo.com I find serenity in my morning bonsai routine.  When I am trimming my trees early in the morning, I feel a peace I can't describe.  It's a feeling that reminds me why I fell in love with bonsai in the first place.  There's something about looking at eat tree and accessing their needs and making adjustments.  The best way I can describe is while I am looking at a bonsai that tree is the only thing that matters at that moment.  Every thing else becomes trivial, and we all need an escabonsaipotsusa@yahoo.com vvvvpe sometimes with the stress of this world.  Good morning enjoy your day friends.

Serissa Bonsai Trees - Bad Reputation?

Serissa's Bad Rep - True or False?

I have noticed allot of feed back lately on Serissa bonsai trees.  Allot of this feed back is giving one of my personal favorite bonsai trees a bad rep.  Now is the Serissa my recommendation for a first bonsai tree?  Certainly not, there are many more forgiving trees out there for the newcomer.  However for any one with even a little experience caring for bonsai trees, they would be missing out to not have at least one of these beautiful trees in their collection.
One thing I've noticed about the notorious Serissa bonsai is they react almost immediately to stress or improper care.   Now even  though I feel my stomach twist into a knot when I see the leaves wilting on one of my valuable Serissa trees, it lets me know the tree is not happy.  This gives me an opportunity to make an adjustment.  Where as the root system of a Shimpaku Juniper could be completely dead, without any noticeable changes to the leafs or the appearance of the tree.
Remember, every tree is different as are it's needs for light, water, and fertilization.  Always observe care instructions specific to the species of tree you are caring for.  Care instructions for many species are available in the Knowledge Base Section of Best-Bonsai.com

Online Bonsai Shopping - Real and Fakes

When purchasing a bonsai tree on the net one must make sure that they are getting what they expect.  Always make sure the seller confirms that the tree in the picture is the one you will actually receive.  As a lover of Bonsai before I was an online seller, I understand the apprehension one must have before buying a bonsai tree online.
For example I work for Best-bonsai.com, It is important for us to set a standard of exceeding peoples expectations.  Some other internet companies will put up generic pictures of there trees, then of course what you get is nothing like it looked in the picture.
Being small family owned and a bonsai fanatic before we we're a distributor.  We are passionate about the living art that is bonsai, most of the online sellers out there are more passionate about back links, page rank, and sending traffic to their website.

Make sure the vendor you choose is an artist first and a seller after.  Remember bonsai is an art and you don't want to buy from a company that doesn't have appreciation for that art.
